Using the Website

First, some basics:-

Firstly, don’t be phased by all the different machines available on the website. They may have fancy names and look different from one another, but at the end of the day a Computer is just a tool.  Like any tool, you should only buy the one you need for the job... and a Custom PC is the only way to ensure this.

So first of all, decide what the machine will be used for (both now and in the future).  If its for Internet Access, E-Mail and general Office Applications such as Word or Excel, then don't waste money, go for a basic model. If budget isn't an issue, include quiet components and a decent case.

In this example, consider a budget pc  from our Value PC Range.  Consider whether you need to change any of the options in the drop down boxes, such as swapping the CD/DVD Rom drive/player with a unit that can write to DVDs and CDs or perhaps you don't have an Operating System such as Windows (the machine wont work without one) so make sure you include one if required. 

If you dont make any amendments, then the price shown at the bottom of the page is the price you pay.  Any amendments will increase this figure but will only become visible once it's added to the shopping cart.  All other costs will be shown at this stage, including VAT, Postage and Packing.

Add Extras via our Component Site - if you order from our component site at the same time as ordering a new PC (within 24 hours) the 2 orders will be merged for your convenience and the hardware, where applicable, will automatically be installed in your PC..

Insurance - All items are insured in transit and will be securely boxed to reduce any likelihood of damage.

The Checkout process for your Custom PC is straight forward with all personal details being collected over a secure connection.  There is no chance of interception of your personal data by third parties.

Payment Options are extensive, so simply follow the onscreen instructions.

The computer used in a business role such as this, will need to place emphasis on specialist graphics (NOT gaming graphics).  Its likely to be on for long hours at a time so it will need more robust components to ensure reliability.
