Choosing a Small Form Factor
Custom PC
With components taking up less space, it seems logical step to make PCs smaller. Regrettably it often results in compromise, not in performance, but in features. The principal component, the motherboard, has to be smaller and this in turn means less expansion potential. So when considering a small Custom PC, make allowance for the fact that there are less PCI slots (consult the motherboard list from the link on the right if necessary).
