We specialise in Computer Repairs and encourage people to consider repairing an old PC in preference to replacing it; whilst its a good practice for the environment, it can also be less stressful on the wallet!
We have simplified the scheme by using our own couriers who collect the PC from you. Normal* mainland costs are in the region of £40 + VAT, but that also includes return postage and insurance cover both ways. Upon arrival, the fault will be diagnosed and you will be informed of the cost of repairing the problem. No work will be undertaken without your prior consent.
To take advantage of this scheme, simply complete the Contact Us form with as much information about your PC and click Submit. We can then assess your case and contact you to explain the best way forward. Normally it proceeds as follows:-
- You securely package your PC for transportation (including any discs that originally came with the machine) and don't forget to provide details of any passwords we may need to login!
- You phone us and pay the £40 + VAT carriage costs (basically cheaper than a call out fee!) via credit/debit card (or you can send a cheque/cash/BACS payment)
- Our couriers then collect the parcel from your house/office.
- The PC is tracked online and delivered to our premises within 24 hours, ready for assessment.
- We then contact you with the fault diagnosis and explain the options.
- You then sanction the work or not. If not, the PC is simply returned to you in the same condition.
- If you agree the work, then it is repaired & tested (plus a free service).
- The agreed final payment is taken on your card.
- The machine is then returned to you.
* If you live in an outlying region, eg Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland etc, call us first because the carriage costs may be higher.
