The monitor is the item you will see the most, so don't skimp on it if possible, make sure its big enough, and up to the job you have in mind. Gaming monitors need fast response times, Professional users will want to focus on colours, brightness, contrast etc.

Therefore any problems regarding a monitor, must be directed to the manufacturer of the monitor and not the reseller - this is the same policy all computer companys abide by.
Dead Pixel Policy - All manufacturers adopt a firm stance when it comes to pixel defects. The odd defective pixel is considered normal, irrespective of whether a user dislikes it or not. Several defective pixels may result in a monitor being considered defective, but you need to address all such questions to the manufacturer direct and not us; see links below.
We therefore recommend you familiarise yourself with the Pixel Defect Policy of a company before buying.
